About the role we are seeking someone with fantastic administrative service skills interested in joining the Tāmaki Makaurau Deployment Centre as an Area Executive Officer.

As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for providing a comprehensive administration function that supports the efficient and effective operating of the Deployment Centre, which will include liaising with external service providers.

You will need to be passionate with service delivery, with a continuous improvement mindset that ensures current processes are fit for purpose. You will need to have excellent attention to detail, a good positive work ethic, and not afraid to ask questions when required.

Key accountabilities general oversight for the safe & continuous running of Piki Ki Te Ao. Oversee front counter and reception staff. Work with external stakeholders on any non-basic building maintenance requirements - including emergencies.

Management support for Tāmaki Makaurau Deployment. Carry out monthly security audits. Knowledge and experience of supporting administrative functions. Arrange and minute monthly building and protective security meetings.

Work with a range of technologies to manage the security of the building and its surrounds. Manage and monitor Tāmaki Makaurau Deployment vehicles. Oversee external service providers such as; cafeteria contractors, cleaning contractors, mail contractors, Police Chaplains.

Procurement - order items and stocks as required via SAP. Contribute to a positive team environment and building Police's employment brand and reputation.
