Job Description
Responsibilities include

Responsible for the preparation of food according to the standards and quality levels set by the Company at all times
Ensuring that quality and presentation are served on schedule
Ensuring proper equipment operation/maintenance and proper safety and sanitation in kitchen.
Take direction from Chef’s on board
What you will bring to us

Apprentice Chef, First, Second or Third year Apprentice will be accepted.
Prior Marine industry experience will be highly regarded.
Proficiency in all aspects of food safety, including HACCAP and Food Safety Supervisor
Positive communication skills, energy and attitude
A flexible and motivated team player and a high degree of social competence
Efficient time management and organisational skills
Takes pride in appearance
Ability to work under pressure
Willingness to learn and ability to take Constructive Criticism

AMSA endorsed Certificate of Safety Training (CoST).
Crowd Control & Crisis Management.
AMSA Medical.
First Aid & CPR.
MSIC Card
Australian Seafarers book or other country equivalent discharge book.
