Role summary the Customer Channels team sits within the Technology Wagering & Media unit and strives to provide world class technology services and solutions. Our mission is to excel at delivering and supporting amazing products, services and experiences that exceed internal and external customer expectations.

As the Application Support Engineer, you will provide strong technical level 1 and 2 application support for the Customer Channel platforms. You will work closely with other Service Delivery Teams to ensure correct internal and external procedures are followed. You will be given the opportunity to specialise in specific applications to build and foster a work environment of excellence to ensure the highest level of systems reliability and availability.

The role has a rotation on-call 24x7 support component and may require some interstate travel. Our ideal person experience in an Application Support / Operations Support / DevOps role. Experience in supporting infrastructure within a cloud-based environment (AWS / Docker (ECS) preferred). Good knowledge of common API, web and application architectures and development methodologies. Knowledge and some experience of supporting web technologies, languages & frameworks - ideally NodeJS, Javascript, ReactJS, SQL.

Knowledge & solid understanding of the end to end SDLC specifically CI/CD and cloud base instrumentation (e.g. AWS, CodePipeline, BuildKite, GoCD). All our people have the option to take advantage of flexible working, leadership and career development, plus community programs and volunteer days.
