Beau’s is a state of the art Pet Hotel that offers a safe and loving holiday experience for pets, offering both standard and luxury accommodation for cats and dogs. Beau’s is conveniently located in the Adelaide Airport precinct. We are currently seeking energetic, skilled, experienced and qualified Animal Attendant to provide exceptional care to our pet guests at Beau’s Pet Hotel across our services. As this is a Christmas Casual position, you will be required to have full availability from early December to late January. The responsibilities of the Animal Attendant include supervising day care activities, day to day animal husbandry including cleaning, feeding, medicating and grooming, providing enrichment activities and specialised care to all pet guests, working as an integral member of the beau’s team, delivering memorable customer service. It is important to us that our Animal Attendants have a minimum tertiary qualification of Certificate III in Companion Animal Care (or an equivalent qualification) and a thorough knowledge and understanding of Dog behaviour and temperament, with demonstrated animal handling skills. We require casual employees to work flexibly over a 7 day roster and be available to work during peak periods such as school holidays and public holidays. All profits from Beau’s Pet Hotel are returned to Guide Dogs SA/NT to enable a lifetime of independence, participation, inclusion and wellbeing for children and adults with vision impairment or loss, other sensory impairments and autism through the provision of Guide Dogs, autism assistance Dogs and Therapy Dogs, specialist services and assistive technologies.
