Animal Attendant Slade Group location Sydney.

I'm currently looking for experienced Animal Attendants who have prior husbandry, handling and care experience with small to medium sized animals. My client's state of the art facility includes kennelling, agility and whelping areas and the successful applicants will provide ongoing care to canines on a rotational basis with other attendants.

As an Animal Attendant tasks include, but are not limited to cleaning and disinfecting of kennelling areas. Ensuring that a high level of hygiene is maintained at all times. Provision of food and water for the dogs, following each animal's individual requirements.

Administering medication under veterinary supervision. General welfare checks of dogs, Washing dogs. Moving dogs between kennelling areas and yards. Handling dogs in the facilities’ agility yard. Other duties as required.

The successful applicants will have open availability and be available to work morning shifts 4:00AM - 12:00PM, 7:00 AM- 3:30 PM and afternoon shifts 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM. Be able to start immediately. Have previous experience working with canines. Have their own mode of transport. Be available to work on weekends and public holidays. Be able to demonstrate commitment and interest in the well-being of animals. Have proven capability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
