About the position BIA is excited to share a rare and exciting opportunity for an Airport Gardener to join their dedicated and friendly team in a part time, ongoing basis. This role will work autonomously to carry out general cleaning, care and maintenance of plants and gardens at Broome International Airport (BIA). General routine tasks include mowing, trimming, weeding, planting, and watering.

About the person we seek BIA is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Airport Gardener who is passionate about gardening and has a strong work ethic. As the ideal candidate will have a general interest in gardening. Demonstrated experience operating a variety of gardening equipment, such as lawn mowers, trimmers, leaf blowers, and ride on mover and tractor light machinery.

A proven ability to work outdoors in hot climate conditions. The ability to pass a medical examination to carry out inherent requirements of the position. A current C Class manual driver's licence. The ability to obtain Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC) checks and comply with BIA Drug and Alcohol Management Plan (DAMP).
