About this Opportunity

As an Aged Care Coach, you will be responsible for providing guidance, support, and training to caregiver, helping them develop their skills and manage the challenges of their roles. You will work closely with caregivers to address their concerns, provide personalized coaching, and offer practical solutions to enhance their caregiving experience.

This role would be suitable for someone who has worked as a coach or trainer in an aged care setting. The role will require someone with strong admin skills, strong leadership to have difficult conversations and the ability recognize and review the quality of care we provide to our clients

This role will require the successful applicant to travel between Brisbane North, Moreton Bay and Caboolture suburbs.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide guidance and support to caregiver to assist them in providing quality care
Provide a supportive environment for caregivers to share their experiences, concerns, and emotions, and offer advice and encouragement.
Conduct training on client specific requirements and equipment in the client’s home.
Track the progress of caregivers, providing feedback and adjustments to ensure quality of care.
Provide administrative support to the People and Culture team by maintaining records in systems and ensuring documentation is up to date
About you:

Minimum 2 years in aged care with exposure dementia care, palliative care & end of life care
CERT 3 in Individual Support is highly desirable
Excellent organizational and administrative skills, with a proactive attitude and the ability to handle additional tasks as needed by the business.
Demonstrated experience in using equipment related to Aged Care (lifting hoists, mobility, disability and rehabilitation equipment)
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to connect with and motivate caregivers
Must hold a valid Australian driver’s license
Must have a reliable car and mobile phone
Australian work rights
