Aged Care Assistants and Hotel Services Bolton Clarke location Brisbane.

We are currently looking for expressions of interest for Aged Care Assistants to join our team within our Residential Aged Care facilities.

As an Aged Care Assistant, you provide safe and ethical person-centred care under the supervision and direction of a Registered Nurse and will include assistance with meal distribution, preparation and supervision. Assistance with mobilising, including use of a wheelchair. Assistance with face & hand hygiene, Social assistance. Assistance with bed making. Distribution of clean linen. General administrative duties.

Ideally, you will be able to identify and promptly report changes in the client’s/resident’s condition to the RN. Able to practice safe handling. Capable of effective time management and work organization. Resilient and adaptive working alone or part of a team. An effective communicator with both interpersonal and written communication skills. Possess a valid Police Check or able to acquire.

As an Hotel Services Employee, you will provide high quality essential services such as catering, cleaning and laundry, within our aged care facilities. Duties will include dusting, mopping, polishing and general tidying. Cleaning bathroom facilities. Assistance with bed making and distribution of clean linen. Assistance with meal preparation, distribution and supervision. Rubbish removal and dish washing. General administrative duties.

Ideally, you will be experienced within a commercial cleaning and/or commercial kitchen setting. Food Handlers Certificate (desirable). Effective in time management and work organization. Resilient and adaptive working alone or part of a team. An effective communicator with both interpersonal and written communication skills. Possess a valid Police Check or able to acquire.
