Afterschool Care Programme Sport Coaching Role - Point Chevalier Kelly Club location Auckland. $23.50 – $30 per hour.

Kelly Club Coaching Roles at Kelly Club Point Chevalier. Hours of work will depend on the specific role and can vary between 15 - 25 hours per week during the term time and 25 to 40 hours per week during school holiday periods (depending on your availability). Applicants must be able to work in a team environment, have good communication skills, and enjoy working with children.

Desired experience previous experience coaching sports to 5 - 10 year olds. Previous experience in the planning and delivery of OSCAR programmes. Previous experience working with children in structured programmes. Previous experience supervising/managing staff. Delivering Sport or physical activity based programmes. First Aid Certificate desirable.

Employment contract  This position is subject to a part time or casual employment contract and pending a police check.

Desired requirements a desire to deliver quality programmes for groups of children aged between 5 and 13 years. Strong communication skills. Able to deliver activities with a loud voice . A reasonable level of physical fitness. Good time management skills. Previous experience supervising children using behaviour management techniques . A proven ability to think on the go. Confidence to take control of difficult situations.

Position duties ensure all planned activities are for the enjoyment and safety of the children on the programmes. Follow all Programme Policies and Procedures. Note successful applicants will be required to have a police check.
