Advisor, Planning and Performance Crown Law location Wellington.
About us Crown Law provides legal advice and representation to the Government in matters that affect everyone in Aotearoa New Zealand. Our mahi ranges from the enforcement of criminal law and protection of the revenue, to matters involving human rights and te Tiriti o Waitangi/the Treaty of Waitangi.
Our counsel appear at all levels of court in Aotearoa, from the Supreme Court through to the District Court and various tribunals.

About the role we’re a small team in a small organisation with a busy work programme. We are looking for a person with strong communication and relationship management skills.
You will have the opportunity to lead work, and you will work with the Manager, Planning and Performance on Crown Law’s performance, accountability and risk management processes and products. We’re looking for someone with 1-2 years’ experience in the planning, performance and accountability space.
Ideally, you will have strong communication and interpersonal skills, and be comfortable working with people at all levels of the organisation. Previous experience with reporting and accountability documents such as annual report, estimates measures and strategic intentions, previous experience with risk management or risk reporting, an understanding of the machinery of government.
Some knowledge of official correspondence including the Official Information Act and Privacy Act would be useful, location Wellington. This role is Wellington based and located next to Wellington bus and train station.
What we offer crown Law promotes flexible working so we’d be happy to chat about what flexible working would look like for you and how we can support that. You will also receive a starting salary range of between $81,064 and $100,370 with further room to progress. The appointing salary will be based on skills and experience.
