About Global and Education pathways the Global and Education Pathways portfolio is responsible for the development and implementation of the University's strategic priorities in a range of key areas. Driving excellence, through its two Directorates of Global Engagement and Education Pathways, Global and Education Pathways has specific responsibility for the University's Global Strategy, Widening Participation and Student Retention Strategies and Student Veterans Support. Global engagement has institutional responsibility for realising and achieving University's Global Strategy and for facilitating the university's global engagement activities.
About the role as the Admissions Officer, you'll coordinate the processing of international student applications for a designated country/region or type of applicant, ensuring that applications received have appropriate and certified documentation and qualifications are assessed in accordance with approved entry requirements and provide outcomes to the applicant.
More specifically the role entails assessing international student applications for admission to the university, ensuring that appropriate and verified documentation is received and that applicants meet the university's admission criteria. Providing accurate and appropriate information for applicants and their agents relating to admission to ACU courses via telephone and email. Assisting with preparation for and at events such as orientation and enrolment sessions.
You will need to have a bachelor degree or equivalent combination of experience and education/training. Familiarity with advanced word processing and computer skills in database management and spreadsheets. Demonstrated cultural sensitivity and understanding. Total remuneration valued to $86,755 - $94,011 total rem (pro rata) pa, including salary component $73,309 - $79,440 (pro rata) pa (HEW 5), employer contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading.
