South Perth Hospital is seeking an experienced admissions clerk to join our Admissions Team to provide administrative support to our Endoscopy Unit. To be suitable for the role, recent experience in a healthcare related administrative role is essential. Previous experience in an endoscopy unit or private hospital is desirable.
The main responsibilities include but are not limited to providing administrative support to the Endoscopy Unit. Booking and scheduling appointments and managing endoscopy procedure lists. Receiving and managing telephone and front desk enquiries. Completing health fund checks and obtaining informed financial consent. Liaising with Visiting Medical Officers and Doctor’s Rooms.
About you recent experience in a healthcare related administrative role preferably in a hospital setting. Demonstrated ability or willingness to work within a small team. Willingness to work in administrative roles across a range of departments. Excellent customer service skills. Ability to work well under pressure. Effective time management skills.
