Administrator or Receptionist Waikato District Health Board location Waikato.

About the role we have an exciting opportunity for the right person/s to become part of the Thames Hospital team. The administration team work in a wide variety of roles across the hospital and community setting. The key areas that the successful applicant/s will work in are Reception, Booking Clerks or Medical Records. These role are essential to support clinical care.

Required skills & experience office or computer skills. Excellent communication skills and a pleasant telephone manner. Strong customer service experience, or be able to demonstrate what would be required when dealing with the public. Ability to work autonomously and within a team environment. Be able to demonstrate you have excellent time management and organisational skills.

Desired skills previous clerical and hospital computer skills would be an advantage. Understanding of the partnership when working with Maori. Show evidence of a will to learn, show initiative and have a strong work ethic.

Waikato Hospital is the Midland regional referral centre for multiple specialties including trauma surgery, oncology, and neurology.
