Administrator Wellington Water Limited location Wellington.

Support the team deliver timely high-quality outcomes for the community and environment. Full-time, fixed-term position to the end of June 2024, with the potential to be extended. Ability to work from home two days per week. Based near the cafes and beach in our Petone office.

This is a full-time position of 40 hours per week. We expect to recruit between $58,000 and $70,000 (including KiwiSaver) depending on skills and experience. This is a fixed-term position until 30th June 2024.

The opportunity working alongside a team of passionate water engineering professionals, the position will see you contribute to the delivery on Wellington Water's service goals relating to stormwater, wastewater and drinking water. This is achieved through identifying solutions across our network to improve the wellbeing of our communities and the environment. Join our administration network making full use of your strong customer service ethos where you will contribute to ensure the company's administrative needs are met.

You will support month end updates, including financial and programme information. Support the development and maintenance of processes and procedures, to ensure effective workflow. Contribute to supporting the on-boarding, induction and training of staff. Arrange meetings, team events and help build a strong and collaborative team culture.

About you with a strong customer service focus complementing your ability to build and maintain relationships, to be successful in this role you will bring the following.

What you will bring proven experience in providing administrative support, calendar management and meeting minutes. A background supporting multiple teams and responding to changes in priorities.

Purchasing administration experience; including vendor, contracts, and accounts management. Experience with Project Management and Electronic Document Management systems. A high level of computer literacy, particularly MS Office (Outlook, Excel and Word) and experience in finance systems.

About us Wellington Water is the Wellington region's professional water services provider. We are 100 per cent council owned and funded by Wellington City, Hutt City, Porirua City, and Upper Hutt City councils, Greater Wellington Regional Council and South Wairarapa District Council.

Our councils own the water infrastructure in the region and they task us to manage the infrastructure and deliver water services to their communities. Our job is to provide safe and healthy drinking water, collect and treat wastewater, and ensure the stormwater network is well managed. We do this on behalf of our council owners.
