This opportunity focuses on providing administrative, customer and office services, working as part of a team to contribute to the efficient and effective functioning of the Health and Social Policy Branch.

Working at The Ministry of Health The Health and Social Policy Branch is part of the Health System Strategy and Planning Division in the NSW Ministry of Health and includes five units: Aged Care; Disability, Youth and Paediatric Health; Maternity, Child and Family; Community Care and Priority Populations.

The Branch works in partnership with the health system, government agencies, academia and the non-government sector to develop equity-based policies and programs for the NSW health system, including where these connect with social care. The work of the Branch is strongly influenced by evidence-based and social determinants approaches and focusses on building connections and integrating care. The position is located in St Leonards, in a modern, purpose-built building within an activity-based working environment. Close to public transport, cafés and local amenities.

What you'll be doing delivering a wide range of administrative support functions including, records management, business activity reports, accounts and routine purchasing, compiling documents and data entry. Preparing correspondence and template documents accurately with attention to detail. Working as part of a team to identify and implement improvements to business processes.
