About the role the Claims Champion role oversees the provision of claims supports to facilitate the delivery of business operations to agreed standards, as well as ad-hoc administrative support across the So Joe team. This role is based in Ballina, Monday to Friday from 9am to 4.30pm (35 hours per week), with some work-from-home flexibility and generous remuneration.

Key accountabilities complete accurate and timely processing of claims. Provide administrative support to ensure the business needs of the plan management team are met including referral management, onboarding support, monthly statement management and file management.

Monitor and address complex and/or sensitive enquiries and issues, including those that are escalated, to ensure the timely and effective resolutions of issues, and Adhere to administrative systems, processes, and policies to ensure compliance with agency standards, policies, and procedures.

Minimum criteria demonstrated experience and understanding in general office support functions, data entry and the ability to perform a broad range of clerical functions. Demonstrated well-developed organisational, time management and administrative skills with the ability to plan, prioritise, and meet deadlines. Demonstrated commitment to liaising effectively and working in partnership with all stakeholders.

Ability to build and maintain strong community connections and relationships with service providers, individuals and/or families/carers. Experience working with clients that have significant and diverse disabilities. Sound knowledge of NDIS supports and support catalogue (desirable).

Strong computer literacy skills in MS Office, with the capacity to work with various participant management data portals to create and maintain participant records. Effective communication (verbal and written), prioritisation, and organisational skills and the ability to meet deadlines. Well-developed problem-solving skills. High level of attention to detail. Proven ability to work effectively and as part of team to enhance positive workplace culture.
