Administrative Officer Plant-Em location Northern Territory.

Townsville part Time position (Minimum 20 hours per week). Flexible working hours. Opportunity to work autonomously plant-EM is a landscape and gardening specialist services company and has been operating in Townsville and the surrounding areas since 2008.

Our mission is “Changing Lives with Gardens” and we provide bespoke quality gardening services including garden restorations, new home gardens, water-wise irrigation, garden care, real estate services and edible gardening kits.

We have a strong team culture with focus on customer service, quality control and “job done right first time” ethos. We are seeking an experienced, autonomous and highly organised Administrative Officer to join the team.  You will be the company’s sole administrator and will lead the administrative functions on behalf of the CEO.

The role the Administrative Officer will report to the Chief Executive Officer and will provide high-level and seamless administrative support to the CEO.  The duties include and are not limited to receive and respond to customer enquiries and support the sales process.

Organise customer meetings and site visits on behalf of the CEO and technical staff. Work planning and scheduling of jobs. Order parts and materials and arrange deliveries. Prepare quotations, purchase orders and invoices. Process customer payments.

Manage a small payroll. Daily account management duties. Organise check lists and work orders for technicians. Liaise with staff, customers and suppliers. Maintain employee records and databases.

Take responsibility for the smooth running of the office and administrative functions including IT troubleshooting and amalgamation of IT systems and processes. Develop, improve and maintain sustainable administrative processes.

Continually strive for efficiency and improvements in work processes and practices. Adherence to Workplace Health and Safety standards. Skills and experience demonstrated experience in end to end administrative support role. Demonstrated understanding of financial account management.

Excellent communication skills (written and verbal). Excellent customer service skills. Demonstrated ability to organise and prioritise workload to support and organise others. Use of initiative and attention to detail. Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook.

Demonstrate behaviours that align with the company’s values. Hardworking, conscientious, punctual, honest and reliable. A team-player with ability to work autonomously. Driver’s Licence. Desirable experience with Xero, SimPRO and HubSpot.
