Why your role matters the administrative officer will provide effective day-to-day administrative support across Human Resources. This role will provide administrative support to ensure all services are provided efficiently to meet the operating needs of the Human Resources team, including email management, invoicing, and purchasing, on-boarding of new staff, sending communications and other administrative support as required. The role of Administrative Officer reports to the Executive Officer Human Resources and has no direct reports.

Who You are relevant tertiary qualification and/or subsequent experience in an administrative position or an equivalent level of knowledge gained through other education, training and/or experience. Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills and the ability to negotiate and liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

Demonstrated commitment to providing excellent customer service and a positive, flexible, and adaptable attitude with a willingness to take on a wide range of tasks and adjust to competing and shifting priorities in a changing environment.

High level proficiency in a range of computing skills including Microsoft Office suite particularly word processing and database, applications, emails, social media applications and websites.

Demonstrated ability to learn and implement new systems. Strong organisational and administrative skills and demonstrated ability to prioritise workload and meet strict deadlines while working in a fast-paced environment with variable workflow patterns. Proven ability to apply knowledge and experience to analyse and resolve complex and sensitive issues effectively and develop practical recommendations and solutions.
