About Resilience nsw resilience NSW is an Executive Agency in the Communities and Justice cluster, established to transform the whole of government approach to disaster management in NSW.

Resilience NSW leads and coordinates disaster prevention, management and recovery – learning from experience to drive strategies and investment to reduce risk, build resilience of NSW communities, and give confidence to our communities to live, work and invest in NSW.

About the role this role is responsible for performing project management and support activities that contribute to creating engaged partner and stakeholder networks to enhance disaster preparedness, resilience and recovery outcomes in line with Resilience NSW’s corporate plan and priorities.

About you we’re looking for a talented project officer who has proven track record in supporting the implementation and coordination of partnership and engagement projects. We need someone who can develop and maintain strong relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders and can prepare a range of project and operational planning related documents for key stakeholders.

The successful applicant will also have tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience in a relevant field. An ability to demonstrate good governance, reporting and record keeping of stakeholder engagement and shared agreement milestones.

An ability and willingness to travel within NSW and support other operational roles during disasters, emergencies and other events, consistent with skills, background and personal circumstances. Full vaccination for Covid 19, except where a medical contraindication certificate is provided and accepted.
