Administrative Assistant Orthopaedics 360 location Adelaide. $55,000 – $65,000 per year.

Orthopaedics 360 is a boutique private surgical practice located in Norwood. We strive to provide the best possible patient care and surgical solutions driven by Adelaide’s leading Orthopaedic Surgeons and an impeccable administrative team.

Duties & responsibilities we have the opportunity for a motivated, self-sufficient and highly organised Administrative Assistant to join our team at Orthopaedics 360. The ideal candidate would possess excellent written, verbal and communication skills with a detailed oriented approach. Within your role you will be required to assist with managing a high volume of phone calls, handling confidential patient information, covering in personal assistant’s leave of absences, covering patient clinics as required, scanning, letter folding/reviewing, email’s and document management.

Within this role you will also be required to assist with accounts management under the direction of the administrative team. You will report to our office manager; however, we have a collaborative team and you will be required to take direction from other team members and the surgeons as the role requires.

Skills & experience previous experience in an administrative role is essential for your application to be considered. The ideal candidate would have strong interpersonal and relationship building skills, an understanding of the importance of professional patient care. Express empathy, understanding, patience and compassion for patients when handling phone calls, clinics and producing written correspondence.

Impeccable phone etiquette and ability to manage a high influx of phone calls answer and direct queries as required. Genie (Medical software) use is desirable but not essential. Understanding of Medicare, Surgical Billing, Health funds and Public Hospital billing is desirable but not a requirement. Ability to prioritize and assess ever-changing role requirements. Experience in using or ability learn to use a Mac based computer system.

Friendly, professional and cohesive team member. Basic understanding of IT and understanding different computing systems is essential. Attention to detail is imperative to be successful within this role. Initiative and superior problem-solving skillset. Working conditions. Norwood Location, enclosed secure car parking. Monday to Friday, full time role. 9:00am – 5:00pm (reasonable overtime is required). 3 Month probation period. Attractive Salary Package. Opportunity to work with a collaborative team.
