About the role

We are looking for an Administration Assistant who will be responsible for the provision of administrative and secretarial services to a team of professionals while contributing to a wider administrative support team. You'll play a pivotal role in supporting our business operations and maximizing efficiency across various departments.

Key responsibilities include:

Manage complex rosters and scheduling for site-based teams with precision and foresight.
Coordinate end-to-end travel bookings using INX and AMEX/Serko, ensuring compliance, accuracy, and timeliness. Includes charter flight management and facilitation of flight check-in at Winu.
Provide high-level administrative and secretarial support to a team of professionals, including calendar management, site notice distribution, and support for the Site Controller role.
Prepare and format professional documents using Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Manage incoming calls, visitors, mail, and emails with professionalism and efficiency.
Maintain accurate records, calendars, and filing systems.
Track expenses and support procurement and service requests, including the management of site consumables.
Deliver exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders.

Strong Communication Skills: Demonstrates strong written and verbal communication skills, enabling effective interaction with colleagues, clients, and stakeholders.
Effective Business Software Application Usage: Capable of utilising business software applications to efficiently carry out tasks and produce high-quality outputs.
Excellent Organizational and Time Management Skills: Possesses excellent organisational skills and adept at managing time effectively to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
Attention to Detail and Accuracy: Displays a keen attention to detail and maintains a high level of accuracy in all tasks, ensuring thoroughness and precision in work execution.

Where you’ll be working

Winu is a 100% Rio Tinto owned copper-gold mineralization project in the Yeneena Basin of the Paterson Province in Western Australia. The project is located approximately 130 km north of the Telfer mine and 350 km southeast of Port Hedland. Teams at Winu are taking an agile approach to greenfield project development and being innovative in the way we bring a mine from exploration to production
