Administration Support Officer Health Department of Corrections location Auckland.

About the role Health Services at Auckland Prison in Albany are seeking an enthusiastic, self-motivated, committed individual who is capable of working in a wide range of office administration activities. The prime responsibilities of this role are, to ensure accurate medical information is recorded and maintained, while supporting the team with day-to-day administration duties, including reception, internal and external schedules and appointments, travel bookings and database management. This is a rewarding and challenging position within an environment that will stretch your skills and offer you ongoing support.

Skills & experience our ideal candidate will have a sound working knowledge of computerised systems and keyboard skills. An ability to develop and improve efficiencies. Knowledge or understanding of working with SAP. Familiarity with health systems and medical terminology would be advantageous.

Experience using Medtech, Word and Excel. Be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills, in both verbal and written. High level customer service skills. If you are a team player with the ability to identify and resolve problems whilst maintaining patient confidentiality, this will be the key to outstanding delivery. Salary range for this position is $45,518 to $54,120.

Applicants must be a New Zealand citizen, New Zealand Resident Permit holder, Australian citizen or an Australian resident who holds a current Australian Resident Return Visa. Also hold a full NZ drivers licence and be fully vaccinated.
