Administration Support Officer Department of Corrections location Auckland.

We are looking for 1x Administration Support Officer to join our team at Mt Eden Corrections Facility located in the heart of Auckland CBD.

About the role this is a varied role with a wide range of duties reporting to the Security Manager.  You will be required to provide accounts payable assistance and administration support to internal and external customers. Other duties will include telephone support, checking of incoming and outgoing prisoner mail, data entry and general administration.

You will enjoy working collaboratively as one team in a challenging and fast paced environment, be able to multitask, remain adaptable, follow and adhere to policies and procedures, and have sound judgement in prioritising tasks and activities to meet deadlines.

Skills and experience ideally you will have the following skills and experience good computer skills and experience including Microsoft Word, Excel and SAP. Experience in providing efficient and effective administration support. Excellent written & oral communications skills. High attention to detail. Excellent time management.

Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality. Able to work in a team environment as well as autonomously. Willingness to undertake and complete appropriate training as directed to learn new processes. You will need a Full New Zealand driver licence for this role. The salary range for this role is $62,217 - $65,934 per annum. The work profile for this position is Monday to Friday, working a 40-hour week.
