About the role we are seeking someone with fantastic administrative service skills interested in joining the Northern Emergency Communications Centre as an Administration Support Officer. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for providing a comprehensive administration function that supports the efficient and effective operating of the service, you will also need to liaise with external service providers.

You will need to be passionate with service delivery, making sure current processes at work are working well, and constantly finding ways to improve on them. You will need to have excellent attention to detail, a good positive work ethic, and not afraid to ask questions when required.

Key accountabilities process Telephone and Radio requests -Prioritise, manage, and action requests in a timely manner made by a variety of workgroups within Police. Communication - Having the skills to effectively communicate with colleagues, district and national office staff, and external stakeholders.

Decision Making - Having the critical thinking and problem-solving skills to make sound decisions, identify problems early and pursue effective solutions. Planning and Prioritising - Having the skills to manage your time, priorities, and responsibilities. Administration Experience - Computer literate with knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook. Ability to problem solve and gather critical information. Computer literate with knowledge of comms centres systems and procedures

General office support - provides general administrative support for the group. Ensures all requisitions and procurement for the group are processed efficiently, adequate kitchenette and office resources including stationary and computer supplies.
