Administration Support Officer Landcare NSW location Sydney. $50,000-54,999 +super (pro-rata) 6 Month Mat Leave.

About the role we're seeking an Administration Officer/PA to join our team based in Mascot office on a Full-Time 6-month mat leave contract with the possibility of extension. The role will suit an individual with a high level of attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks and competing deadlines. This role will support the everyday functioning of the office, provide general support to a small team, with a focus on customer enquiries, communications support and PA tasks for the CEO.

Key responsibilities working Monday to Friday – 9am to 5pm. Answering and directing incoming calls – moderate/low volume. Greeting and directing any visitors. Manage several email inboxes and coordinating responses. Coordinate external enquiries including managing data entry systems. PA tasks for CEO including assisting with diary management and adhoc administrative tasks. Meeting scheduling, set up and minute taking.

Oversee general office facilities, including stationery and kitchen supplies; and point of contact for building management and any other office related contractors. Supporting Communications team with research, newsletter creation, social media. Booking travel for CEO and Senior team members. Manage meeting room, including setting up hybrid meetings. Assist with events co-ordination internally and externally. General administration tasks requested by other team members.

The person you will have an interest in Landcare and/or the environment. You will be an energetic, confident, natural problem solver who demonstrates initiative and has ability to prioritise. You will be the supportive link of the organisation, with the proven capability to work independently and collaboratively within a small team.

The qualifications, skills and qualities you'll need previous administration experience with strong communications and customer service skills. Strong written communication skills, with a focus on stakeholder engagement and social media. Conceptual thinker with the ability to collaborate.

Able to work with minimal supervision. Intermediate to Advanced computer skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, experience with Salesforce, Mailchimp and Xero desirable. Immediately available (30th January). Remuneration will match market rates and is negotiable for the successful candidate.
