Where you'll be working Western Sydney Local Health District (WSLHD) is responsible for providing primary and secondary health care for people living in the Auburn, Blacktown, and The Hills Shire, Holroyd and Parramatta Local Government Areas (LGAs) and tertiary care to residents of the Greater Western Region. What you'll be doing the incumbent of this position holds a senior role in administrative services within Corporate Services as an administrative support role to the Managers of Corporate Services at Blacktown & Mount Druitt Hospitals. Working closely with teams including Administration, General Services and Security. The occupant of this position is required to demonstrate highly developed communication and interpersonal skills. The role encompasses liaison with health care professionals and other health service staff and works in a supportive capacity for the Managers of Corporate Services at Blacktown & Mount Druitt Hospitals as directed.

Selection criteria demonstrated highly developed administrative skills with experience in an administrative role with demonstrated experience in supporting management and ability to maintain strict confidentiality. Demonstrated superior verbal, written, negotiation and interpersonal communication skills and effective communication with all levels of a large organisation.

Demonstrated time management & organisational skills with proven ability to effectively meet deadlines, use initiative and flexibility whilst working on numerous tasks in a multidisciplinary environment across both BMDH sites. Demonstrated experience in rostering preparation & patterns, electronic timesheet system and experience in managing shortfalls.

Experience in meeting organisation, preparation of minutes & agendas and document preparation to a high standard. Ability to multitask and handle unexpected matters when they arise in a professional & courteous manner. Demonstrated ability to work independently with a solution focused work practice within the scope of role. Demonstrated experience in coordination & preparation of recruitment for multiple roles.
