About the opportunity we have an exciting part time opportunity for an Administration Officer within our Electrical Safety and Technical Regulation (ESTR) section. You will play a key role in providing support to (ESTR) staff by providing administrative assistance and a range of other tasks to align with the Division's objective.

You will contribute by providing the following support to ESTR team assisting with procurement management. Ordering Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Co-ordinating travel arrangements. Co-ordinating and taking minutes for meetings with internal and external stakeholders. Assisting ESTR staff with preparing correspondence including exemption applications, management plans, electric line on public land exemptions and incident reports.

Coordinating and updating relevant documentation and systems for annual fee change. Providing project administration support for ESTR as requested. Triaging technical enquires and allocating to relevant Compliance Officers. Managing the relevant pages and content of ESV's intranet website. Actively participating in monthly administration meetings and assisting with administrative projects as required. Coordinating training and assisting with related setup requirements.

About you experience in the provision of general administrative support including preparation of correspondence, filing, organising and updating of data bases. Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate with a range of both internal and external stakeholders. Competency in maintaining office filing and electronic and hard copy records systems, ability to take minutes and prepare routine correspondence.

Well-developed computer skills using a range of computer software packages including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, databases and Outlook. Excellent attention to detail, ability to prioritise, organise and self-manage workload in a deadline driven environment. Well-developed written and verbal communication skills and proven ability to be discreet and empathetic in relation to sensitive matters and maintain confidentiality. Knowledge of TRIM and PEGA document and work management systems is desirable.
