Our Client is a Federal Government body that supports Australians and their families by valuing a positive contemporary attitude to disability.

They are seeking an enthusiastic and professional Administration Operations Officer to join their Service Delivery team in Sydney CBD. This role will be on a contract basis for an initial 18 month period and will be an equivalent APS4 level.

The role as an Operations Officer, you will undertake a variety of project coordination activities by providing operational and administrative support. This role will also have a considerable level of contact with internal ad external stakeholders where you will need to be able to provide advice on moderately complex enquires.

Responsibilities may include but are not limited to leading and contributing to the implementation of process improvement initiatives. Providing secretariat support, including the coordination of speakers and key messages, agendas, minute taking and scribing.

Managing, collating, interpreting and analysing data to produce reports and dashboards that inform strategic and operational planning. Contributing to the Innovation portfolio and the methodology to progress ideas across key decision making bodies, supporting NSW and ACT associated stakeholders.

Monitoring and actioning correspondence, assigning and actioning internal work items within service standards. Assisting with mandatory training requests and arrangements as required.

In addition to the above, the role may require attendance at external locations offsite including participants' homes (which may have multiple stories or be accessible only via uneven ground, stairs). Performing high levels of phone usage and/or face to face work. Driving a vehicle to attend external locations which are not otherwise accessible by public transport. As such a Driver's Licence and Transport will be required.

About you, you will present with a high level of personal resilience and the ability to deal with high workload demands. To be successful in this role you will ideally have proven experience within a customer service environment, ideally within a Government or Health setting. In addition, you will demonstrate the following skills and experience a solid understanding of policy, principles, and practices related to service delivery.

Strong communication skills to address moderately complex enquiries. Proficiency in project coordination and administrative tasks. Advanced Excel skills experience working with spreadsheets. Experience working with data and document formatting. Analytical abilities for data interpretation and reporting. Having a strong interest or previous experience with the Disability Sector would be an advantage.
