Job description administration Officer, Grade 3/4 - Professional Standards Branch, Corrective Services NSW. Title Administration Officer - Professional Standards Branch, Corrective Services NSW. Organisation Department of Communities and Justice. Vacancy Multiple roles. Job Location Strawberry Hills, NSW. Employment Status Full time, 35 hours per week. Temporary up to 30 June 2024 and/or Ongoing. Total remuneration package: $90,362.00 Package includes salary ($74,117 - $81,158), employer's contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading.
About us the Department of Communities and Justice delivers legal, court and supervision services to the people of NSW by managing courts and justice services, implementing programs to reduce crime and re offending, managing custodial and community-based correctional services, protecting rights and community standards and advising on law reform and legal matters.
Corrective Services NSW (CSNSW) delivers professional correctional services and programs to reduce the risk of re-offending and enhance public safety. It serves a key function of the NSW Justice sector by providing effective, safe and humane management of offenders both in custody and in the community CSNSW also works in partnership with other government and community agencies to ensure that offenders and their families are supported.
About the role the Professional Standards Branch (PSB) of Corrective Services NSW (CSNSW) is expanding and has some exciting new opportunities available including the role of Administration Officer. As an Administration Officer you will be responsible for providing competent administrative and clerical support, including high quality client service, to ensure the efficient operation of the Professional Standards Branch (PSB).
About you to be successful in this role you will have willingness to uphold and promote public sector values. Confidence in utilising reporting systems and databases. Experience in the provision of administrative and clerical support and demonstrated experience in providing excellent customer service. High level of organisational skills and ability to work independently. Excellent communication and time management skills.
Essential requirements experience providing high-level administrative and clerical support and excellent client service. Current driver's licence and preparednes to travel to support operational and business unit needs. It is an essential requirement of employment that successful applicants will have evidence of having received two doses of the TGA approved COVID19 vaccine.
