The opportunity
We are seeking a customer focused Administration Officer to join our RACV Club Administration team, based on site at our Melbourne CBD City Club.
Reporting to the Finance Administration Manager, this role provides essential accounting support across the Club. You will be a key point of contact for Club members, as well as internal and external stakeholder queries, ensuring timely, accurate and professional responses while supporting the smooth day-to-day operations of the Club.
This role suits someone who enjoys balancing administration, accounts support and customer interaction in a fast paced, service driven environment.
What you’ll be doing
Provide day-to-day administration support to RACV Club departments
Act as a key contact for Club members to assist with account queries resolving issues or escalating as appropriate
Support accounts receivable processes, including debt management, data uploads and data maintenance
Support accounts payable processes including invoice processing and vendor management
Perform cash handling and daily reconciliations (ad hoc)
Maintain accurate records, reports and contract registers
Prepare statistical information and assist with business and departmental reporting
Work closely with Leisure and Club teams to support a seamless and positive member experience
Contribute to process improvement and service efficiency initiatives
Maintain a safe working environment in line with RACV health, safety and wellbeing policies
What you’ll bring
Experience in finance administration, accounts support or back office roles within a complex environment
A strong customer and member service mindset, with confidence handling queries and resolving issues
Sound understanding of financial processes including reconciliations, invoicing and reporting
Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks
High attention to detail and a methodical, organised approach
Experience using Salesforce and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar preferred)
Clear, professional communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with stakeholders
Experience in hospitality, club, hotel or leisure environments is advantageous however, not essential.
