Your role the Joint Child Protection Response (JCPR) Program links the risk assessment and protective intervention of DCJ with the criminal investigation of NSW Police and the forensic medical, treatment and support services of NSW Health. The program delivers a multidisciplinary response to child protection matters across NSW.

The JCPR investigates reports about child sexual abuse, severe physical abuse and neglect. The Administrative Officer is exposed to highly sensitive information. Your role will provide crucial high level support to the JCPRP team in Coffs Harbour with responsibility for various key administrative functions.

What you'll do provide a range of administrative and support services, including records management, routine correspondence, financial records, meeting minutes and event coordination to support the effective operation of the team/unit. Collect and compile information and prepare documentation and correspondence in line with quality and organisational requirements, to support information flow and inform decision making. Coordinate and manage records and databases, complying with administrative systems, processes and policies, to ensure that all information is accurate and stored correctly and securely.

What we're looking for experience in working in a high-pressure team environment delivering services to vulnerable clients with a high level of communication and relationship skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively. Competency with a range of relevant technology and software applications.

Ability to interpret policies, standards and procedures and act with a high level of integrity whilst maintaining a high level of confidentiality. You will be exposed to highly sensitive matters that at times you may find confronting. It is essential that the successful applicant understands the importance of maintaining client confidentiality and has the ability to practice good self-care. You must also hold a valid driver's licence.
