Division summary the Prevention Division aims to reduce the risk of cancer in the Victorian population through social marketing, advocacy, professional training and providing advice based on the best available evidence. This involves action to affect individual behaviours and the broader physical and legislative environment to support health and wellbeing. Our programs include: Quit Victoria, SunSmart, Achievement Program, Vic Kids Eat Well, cancer screening early detection and immunisation, the Food for Health Alliance, and alcohol policy.
About your opportunity we are seeking an Administration Officer to join the Prevention Division. Reporting to the Office Manager your role is to liaise with health promoters, health champions, workplaces, early childhood centres and schools to provide support on their application related enquiries.
Resolve new members enquiries and supporting them with registration and submission process. Preparing and dispatching certificates, resource packs and outdoor signs to settings. Logistically manage Achievement program workshop and webinars. Assist with general website, email and phone enquiries and a broad range of additional administration and program support.
All about you we are looking for someone with experience in (or knowledge of) office administration, or an office-related role. An autonomous approach, with a demonstrated ability to use initiative and perform with limited supervision. Well-developed organisational skills including a proven ability to multi-task, schedule and prioritise tasks without supervision.
High level competency in Microsoft Office suite and Outlook. Effective communication skills, including maturity, patience and tact, with demonstrated ability to facilitate relationships with the general public, staff and stakeholders.
