About This opportunity we are seeking a motivated, organised and experienced Administration Officer to support the Research Partnerships Office. As the first point of contact, you will provide administrative support to the day-to-day office processes and functions.
Given the fast-paced environment of the Research Partnerships Office, your ability to juggle multiple priorities, provide a high level of customer service and communicate with a range of stakeholders will be among your strengths.
Some key responsibilities include provision of information and advice on a range of administrative matters to stakeholders, staff, other units of the University by telephone, face-to-face, email and online enquiries.
Undertake a range of office and administrative duties such as ordering stationery; raise requisitions; receipting of goods; organize travel arrangements; reconcile credit card transactions and assisting with the organization of events within the Research Partnerships Office.
Assist with the overall efficiency of the Office by providing advice, support, induction assistance and backup to other members of the team as required. Provide secretariat support to committees and working groups as required. Manage the day-to-day room booking requests for the GCI Building and ensuring that spaces are kept clean and tidy; assisting with audio visual and video conferencing equipment when required.
At HEW Level 5, the full-time equivalent base salary will be in the range $74,378.89 - $82,842.92, plus a generous super allowance of up to 17%. The total FTE package will be up to $87,023.30 - $96,926.22 annually.
About you qualifications and training equivalent to an undergraduate degree in business administration or related field; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
Strong client service orientation. Experience in supporting a busy office environment. Knowledge of general administrative procedures and systems. Proficiency in word-processing and spreadsheet packages. Demonstrated ability to prioritise objectives to deal with competing demands.
Excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to communicate effectively with clients by telephone, email and in person. Ability to prioritise own workload, work independently and meet deadlines. Ability to deal effectively and sensitively with a wide range of people including senior university executives and leaders from industry, government, and the community.
