About the position as an Administration Officer, you will provide administrative support to the Associate Vice Chancellor (AVC) Sydney Region, ensuring the smooth running of the Sydney campus’s day-to-day operations and support external engagement activities in the region. You’ll work closely with the AVC and the University’s central service areas to provide high-level customer service and confidential administrative support. Your duties will include but are not limited to finance administration, meeting organisation, including minute taking, and event coordination.

About you to be successful, you will require completion of a Certificate IV in Business or a related area and/or an equivalent combination of relevant knowledge, training, or expertise in a related field.

Demonstrated high-level and professional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, including the ability to communicate in a culturally sensitive manner with internal and external stakeholders to whom English may not be their first language. Strong organisational skills, including the ability to meet deadlines and manage competing demands without compromising standards of service or quality.

Demonstrated high-level administrative skills, including proven ability to deliver quality customer service, contribute effectively in a team environment, and ability to learn new software systems, policies, and processes in a timely manner. Proven ability to work autonomously in a challenging environment utilising problem-solving skills, initiative, and discretion to achieve specific outcomes.

Remuneration appointment to this role will be at Professional Level 5. The base salary will be in the range $70,648 - $81,617 (pro rata) per annum. The total remuneration package will be in the range of $82,658 - $95,491 (pro rata) per annum, including 17% superannuation.
