About the role come and work for an award-winning Injury Management team. We are currently seeking an Return to Work Administration Officer to join our successful team.

This position is responsible for administrative support for the injury management team, including managing the process of establishing of Purchase Orders for Injury Management and payment of invoices to ensure this is done in a timely manner and in line with Council’s policies and procedures. In addition, the successful applicant will be involved in the development of recover at work plans for workplace injuries.

As part of Council’s Injury Management team you will work with a range of stakeholders to support injured workers ensuring they receive the treatment and support to achieve a timely, safe and durable return to work.

You will have the opportunity to continue our progress of early return to work with a business culture which supports both personal and workplace injuries and illnesses. This is a busy role where you will manage all work related and non-work related injuries across Council involving to provide administrative and project support to the Injury Management Team.

To proactively build and maintain relationships with stakeholders and employees with a view to providing a solutions focused, customer oriented approach. Responsible for the efficient and accurate record keeping in all corporate systems relating to Injury Management. Support the management of all work related and non-work related injuries across Council. To promote Council as an Employer of Choice.

What you’ll need to succeed return to Work Coordination certification through SIRA (or willing to obtain). Experience in building and maintaining effective relationships with internal customers and dealing with a diverse range of stakeholders, in a complex environment.

Demonstrated ability to provide quality written advice with strong report writing skills. Basic knowledge of computer systems required. Relevant job-related experience in a similar environment. Demonstrated commitment to the provision of exceptional customer services.

Demonstrated ability to work effectively with the People and Performance team. Demonstrated organisational and time management skills to meet defined deadlines.
