About Our client our client is looking for a motivated and professional administration officer that will support the smooth running of their Sydney CBD office. The successful candidate will be an integral part of the team and make a positive contribution to the work environment. There is the opportunity to be a strong advocate for the office culture, have positive interactions with external customers and internal employees, as well as coordinating the office.

Your New role as an Administration Officer, you will have the opportunity to provide effective administrative support services within the Unit including purchasing, staff attendance sheets, record keeping of staff leave.

Carry out other administrative duties including lodgement and generation of building approvals and permits, data entry into Pathways and recording of all application information within Trim and maintaining long service levy payments and related matters, process document access requests as required by Government Information.

Accurately update and maintain database systems for all Building.

Ensure that all communication received (ie telephone calls, general enquires from the public) are handled and conveyed to the appropriate officer in a prompt and professional manner.

Assist with implementing any necessary business processes to align with other units or this unit in respect of new functions and work closely with the Standards and Policy team to ensure that new or amended procedures flow through at an administrative level. Assist the team in delivering other programs of work such as business planning, performance measurement and organisational reporting.

Key challenges effectively communicate with all internal and external stakeholders who have competing priorities, with a view to building effective working relationships. To respond to urgent work demands and meet strict deadlines.

What will help you succeed to be successful for this position you should highly organised and able to manage varying responsibilities. Must have administration experience. Government experience is highly desirable. Effective listening, written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite, including Microsoft Teams and Outlook, TRIM.
