About Us Malek Fahd Islamic School is a Kindergarten to Year 12 School with approximately 3000 students across three campuses, in the Western Sydney suburbs of Greenacre, Beaumont Hills and Hoxton Park. The position will initially be based at Hoxton Park but may be required to move across campuses.

About the role the role of Administration Officer is a critical support role to the School’s administration. As a customer facing role for the School, you will be responsible for the welcoming of the School’s community members and guests. This position is open to people from all faiths.

Essential criteria applicants will need to work collaboratively with the team across Administration and have exemplary relationship skills when working with children, parents and staff. The successful applicant will preferably have school experience and must be highly skilled in ICT. Duties will be varied but include general typing, data entry, receipting and reception duties. The ability to deal with sensitive issues with confidentiality is essential. The successful applicant will be sympathetic to the philosophy of education of our Islamic School.

Specific Selection criteria experience in a Receptionist/Administration role. Relevant school experience and experience in using student management system would be advantageous. Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access PowerPoint and Outlook). Well organised and possess excellent communication skills with attention to detail and high level of accuracy. Ability to multi-task and adept at balancing competing demands and priorities.

Ability to maintain strict confidentiality. A commitment and willingness to work as a team member. Enthusiastic, professional attitude with ability to work under minimum supervision and under pressure and ability to work with frequent interruptions. A capacity to deal with customer enquiries in calm, effective, proactive and in a professional manner. Desirable to have qualifications in Office Administration or Business.
