Administration Officer Macquarie University location Sydney.

An exciting opportunity for an experienced Administration Officer to support the delivery of professional learning courses led by the Academy for Continuing Professional Development in Education (ACPDE). Salary Package From $75,400 - $85,728 p.a. (HEW Level 5) plus 17% employer's superannuation and annual leave loading. Appointment Type Part time, (21 hours per week). Fixed term for 12 months. Macquarie University (North Ryde) location.

The role the Administration Officer is a core role of the Academy for Continuing Professional Development in Education (ACPDE) and critical to the Academy's ongoing growth and success. The Administration Officer provides comprehensive administration and project support to the Academy while taking on and coordinating projects of their own.

This is a dynamic role responsible for a variety of activities ranging from financial administration, events support, customer service and coordinating and improving a range of processes such as the registration of courses with external agencies. This is a busy role in a complex environment that requires excellent organisational skills and a forward thinking focus around growth and improvement.

About you drawing on your experience in a similar role, you will be an experienced and confident administrator with highly developed coordination and administration skills. Selection criteria strong administrative and project coordination skills, preferably in a learning or professional development environment. Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills with a demonstrated ability to learn new programs and systems. Accounts Payable experience in generating invoices, processing incoming invoices and reconciling project budgets.

Proven ability to work in a fast paced and dynamic team, working collaboratively and cooperatively and managing competing priorities. Event management experience in organising events for up to 150 people. High level of written and oral communication skills.
