Administration Officer Chandler Macleod Group location Sydney. $30 - $35 p.h. + Superannuation.

Chandler Macleod is currently recruiting for an experienced Program Officer to join a leading Federal Government agency. This is an immediate start with a contract term of 6 months.

About the company based in Pyrmont, this agency is an independent prosecuting service and government agency. They contributes to a fair, safe and just society by successfully prosecuting crimes against Commonwealth law.

About the role in this role, you will undertake a range of legal administration activities on behalf of Federal Prosecutors. Working under supervision, the Officer will liaise with staff to provide the following services case Administration activities - creation and administration of CRIMS case files, photocopying, filing, data entry, meeting administration, records management (including archiving).

Witness Co-ordination - drafting summons/subpoenas, liaison (eg providing updates) and other related tasks (eg travel and conferences). Case Preparation - preparing materials, lodging/filing documentation, conducting basic research activities, video conferencing, interpreters and translators. Case Liaison - liaising with Federal Prosecutors, external agencies and counsel.

You will utilise a range of administrative, legal and practice management systems to complete tasks. The Officer will build rapport, maintain internal and external relationships, and undertake appropriate learning and development activities as required. The Officer will contribute to the achievement of the work group's objectives and demonstrate appropriate behaviours.

About you to succeed in this role, you will be a skilled facilitator and trainer, a team player, highly organised and motivated with a demonstrated ability to work flexibly and to tight deadlines. Further to this, to be considered for the role you will also contributes own experience to achieve outcomes for the work area. Constructs plans to deliver objectives. Monitors task progress against performance expectations. Responds flexibly to work changes and shifting priorities. Identifies issues which could impact on designated tasks. Understands and applies relevant legislation, policy and regulatory frameworks.
