The opportunity this is an exciting opportunity to be part of TAFE NSW Corrective Services Education team. The Administration Officer is responsible for providing a range of high-quality administration services to effectively support the Corrective Services Education team’s program of work and operations.
You’ll love this role if you have strong IT skills and pick up technology systems quickly. Work well across a range of activities whilst meeting completing deadlines. Have excellent communications skills to build strong business relationships.
Reporting to the Contract Manager, Corrective Services, this position provides a range of general administrative and training program related services as assigned by the manager to support the business needs of the team. Maintains effective electronic and physical document management systems including records management, SharePoint, and template storage.
Coordinates and schedule meetings, assisting in preparing correspondence, agendas, minutes, presentations, briefing notes, and other materials to support the achievement of business requirements and monitor and track operational tasks. Provides support for a range of training programs administration and logistics activities as required including support for course evaluations; accessing government training subsidies; issue of transcripts; and liaison with specialist internal support services for course and student related administration requirements.
Essential criteria certificate IV in relevant discipline or equivalent skills, knowledge, and experience. Experience performing a range of administration activities to support program or service delivery operations.
Demonstrated ability to use office programs and corporate systems to manage work and process information, including data entry and reporting, document production and records management. Ability to address and meet focus capabilities as stated in the Position Description.
