Administration Officer Brisbane Private Hospital location Brisbane. $28.55 - $31 p.h.

Central location, above Roma St Parkland, close to PT. Casual and full time opportunities available. Mulitple roles within the hospital. $28.55/hr - $31/hr depending on experience.

The opportunity our Administration Services team have new opportunities for experienced administration officers to join our friendly and supportive team. Working with our Front Office Manager, we are seeking casual and full time team members who will be accountable for a variety of administrative duties across different areas within the hospital.

Key functions include health fund checks & IFC. Liaising with patients and/or family. Having a sound understanding of private health funds. Maintain accurate and effective record management systems including preparation of medical records. Coordinate with staff from other departments.  Complete other clerical tasks such as data entry.

Brisbane Private is a 181 bed acute and rehabilitation hospital with 17 operating theatres conveniently located above the Roma Street Parklands. Specialties include neurosurgery, orthopaedics, spinal, plastics, urology, ENT, Rehabilitation and general surgery and delivery of Brisbane's leading private drug and alcohol programs from Damascus Health Services.

About You you will have an excellent understanding of private health funds, how to coordinate the administrative process for a hospital admission, and enjoy being a member of a large team. To be successful in your application, you will have relevant qualifications or comparative experience (desirable). Commit to our Safe Values.

Have demonstrable experience in health fund checks & IFC (desirable). Have excellent computer literacy and experience in using webPAS. Be comfortable with a competing priorities. Demonstrated previous experience in a fast-paced Medical Administration/Reception role. Excellent communication skills. Outstanding customer service skills. High level organization skills. Ability to follow instructions and take directions as required.
