Administration Officer Sydney Children's Hospitals Network location Sydney.

What you'll be doing to provide secretarial support to the Kids Neuroscience Centre Department. This includes screening telephone calls, ordering stationary and complex lab supplies, invoicing of grants and other laboratory services, processing and managing student and contingent worker paperwork, booking meeting rooms, processing leave forms for research staff/students including complex conference leave, maintaining asset log, maintain and use various computer software programs, additional Research Department activities may be requested as required.
Recent administration officer experience. Well-developed organisational, interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work under pressure in a team environment. Computer skills including word processing, stafflink, oracle, healthroster and excel. Ability to prioritise work, punctual and reliable. Well-developed understanding of laboratory terminology. Ability to work with confidential and sensitive information.

All NSW Health workers are required to have completed a primary course (2 doses) of a COVID-19 vaccine which has been approved or recognised by the Therapeutics Goods Administration (TGA). Additionally, as this is a Category A position, workers are required to receive a booster dose three months after completing the primary course of COVID-19 vaccinations. New applicants must have completed the vaccination course prior to commencement with NSW Health, or provide an approved medical contraindication certificate (IM011 immunisation medical exemption form) certifying the worker cannot have any approved COVID-19 vaccines available in NSW.
Acceptable proof of vaccination is the Australian Immunisation Register (AIR) Immunisation History Statement or AIR COVID-19 Digital Certificate. Booster doses are highly recommended for all health care workers who have completed the primary course of COVID-19 vaccinations.
