Armstrongs Driver Education has been delivering high-quality training and assessment for the Transport and Logistics industry for over 50 years. We are a Registered Training Organisation (RTO No. 6138), accredited by VicRoads to deliver heavy vehicle and motorcycle training and assessment.  We have a Part-Time Administration Officer role 2 days per week at our Thomastown site, on Friday's & Saturday's to support our amazing team of professional trainers. We're looking for an energetic individual who may have face-to-face customer service experience. May have call centre experience. Have experience using booking/invoicing platforms. Are task-focused, efficient and productive. Are detail orientated and may have experience with compliance. Have experience with high call volumes.

Have demonstrable problem-solving skills which prioritise the best outcome for the caller. Can quickly comprehend and recall new information. Are looking for an opportunity to learn about a new industry. Can operate autonomously within a team environment. Have experience in turning inquiries into sales.

Have a flexible approach to work and can easily adapt to different responsibilities. Can conduct themselves in a friendly and professional manner at all times. Are great communicators who can make connections with others easily. Have a ‘can do’ attitude'.

Key responsibilities the successful candidate will work as directed by the Administration Manager in a range of areas related to their field of expertise undertaking such duties as customer service face to face, over the phone and online.

Booking students into courses. Assisting students to complete VicRoads paperwork and perform eyesight tests. Provide pre-course information to students. Invoicing, receiving and receipting payments. Preparing student paperwork for trainers. Filing, photocopying and archiving, Debt collection.

Marketing and promotion of Armstrongs’ programs. Liaising with employers and job networks. Working collaboratively as an effective team member. Participating in the Performance Review and Development Process. Participating in meetings, activities and networks relevant to the position. Providing administrative support to all divisions of Armstrongs including all training staff and management.

Completion of licence paperwork in accordance with VicRoads and Armstrongs guidelines and requirements. Issuing of learner permits and licences within VicRoads and Armstrongs guidelines. Responsible use of Armstrongs’ facilities and resources including ensuring security of materials and locking office facilities. Any other reasonable tasks as requested by management. Reflect and embed Armstrongs' Code of Practice and organisational culture.
