Administration Officer Department of Conservation location West Coast.

He angitutanga about the role as our next Administration Officer, you will be responsible for providing a customer focused business/administrative service in the Western South Island, Regional Office, Hokitika. We are seeking an organised, capable administrator who loves working with people. You will be part of a wider regional administration team who are vital to the operation of our organisation.
You will be a self-starter that supports conservation growth and being the focal point of the office will mean that you will need to react to customer requirements from the Public as well as across a range of roles in the Department. A flexible approach to these hours maybe reached with a successful applicant. This is permanent full-time work. Located in Hokitika, on the West Coast of the South Island. You will be part of a small team providing an Administrative Service in a busy Regional office. This role will enable you to develop your customer service skills as well as contributing to maintaining the Departments fleet and property assets.
He korero mou What we are looking for a qualification in business/office administration or equivalent experience, a current driver's licence, proven ability to deal with confidential/sensitive material with discretion, an understanding of the work of the Department and how it contributes to New Zealand's future sustainability, high level organisation skills, the ability to deliver on time and solve problems as they arise.
