About the role we are looking for an Administration Officer to join our team at our Logan office. We are going through an exciting period of growth here at Carers Queensland and it's a perfect time to join us on our mission to change lives for those with disabilities and their families.

This role will provide reception, administrative and scheduling support to the NDIS Local Area Coordination (LAC) Partner in the Community program team. You will provide information and support to participants, their families, and carers, operating as their first point of contact with the organisation. Our future star performer will have extremely high attention to detail, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment whilst dealing with competing priorities, experience in dealing with the community, and strong Excel skills.

Some of your key responsibilities will include maintaining appropriate administrative records utilising our databases. Using the NDIA IT System to record appointments, notes, and actions to ensure the development and maintenance of accurate data. Scheduling participant contact and interviews. Providing general information in response to participant enquiries and refer to appropriate internal stakeholders when required.

Do you have demonstrated experience providing administrative and/or reception support in the Community Services industry, e.g. medical reception, call centres, child services, etc. High level of communication skills both written and verbal and the ability to build rapport and adapt skills according to the audience or target group involved.

The skills to be a team player and someone who thrives in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. The ability to triage and prioritise work tasks. Experience or knowledge at entering information into databases with a high level of accuracy and detail whilst adhering to Government reporting requirements.
