Administration Officer Healthscope location Melbourne.
Our Administration department at The Victorian Rehabilitation Centre have several vacancies for enthusiastic and motivated individuals to join our team in supporting the hospital's Admissions, Reception and Outpatients Admin teams.
Part time and Casual roles available - must be available weekends. Supportive Team Environment. As an Administration Officer your responsibilities will include perform a broad range of administration duties including manage a busy reception desk.
Answer and redirect calls. Organise appointments and prepare admission paperwork. Conduct follow up requests and make reminder calls for visits. Maintain accurate and effective record management systems including preparation of medical records.
Perform Health Fund Checks as required. Manage the collection of excesses/co payments. Coordinate with staff from other departments. Complete other clerical tasks such as data entry. Selection criteria excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Highly developed organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines in a fast paced environment. Strong attention to detail. Experience in MS Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel). Works well independently and within a team.
Flexible to work a variety of shifts - early/late shifts & weekend work. WebPas Hospital system experience –Desired. Current Police check (dated within the last 12 months) – essential. Working with Children Check – essential.
