Your opportunity we have an exciting opportunity for an Administrative Officer to join Mission Australia on a full-time basis.  In this role you will be undertaking a range of administrative tasks vital to the efficient running of the services and support to Emergency Relief program in administration duties in an accurate and timely manner.   You will also be responsible for running the emergency relief program and complete assessments of eligibility into the program both over the phone and face to face.

Your key responsibilities will be to complete a range of required program administration tasks including coordination of incoming and outgoing service inquiries. Management of accounts payable function: invoicing, expenses, balancing petty cash.

Management of WHS compliance and first aid. Process procurement of office equipment and stationery orders. Manage and maintain all required asset registers, including phones/devices and accessories. Manage and maintain staff related registers. Policy and procedure support.

Requirements for success previous experience in administrative role. High level of customer service skills with the ability to adapt communication to customer needs. Competent in using computer packages such as Office 2000 including Word, Excel and Power-Point.

Time Management & organisational skills with the ability to organise and prioritise work. Experienced in the use of databases and online information systems. Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Demonstrated understanding of and sensitivity towards disadvantaged clients. Evidence of COVID19 vaccination and current drivers licence. Before starting work with us, you will need to undertake a national police history check, qualifications and referee checks, and have a clearance to work with children/vulnerable people.
