Administration Officer Healthscope location Brisbane.

The opportunity our Administration Services team have new opportunities for experienced pre-admission administration officers. Working to our Front Office Manager, we are seeking two casual team members who will be accountable for coordinating from end to end, the booking of patients for confirmed operations.

Key functions include perform a broad range of administration duties including manage a busy reception desk. Answer and redirect calls. Organise appointments and prepare admission paperwork. Conduct follow up requests and make reminder calls for visits.

Maintain accurate and effective record management systems including preparation of medical records. Perform Health Fund Checks as required. Manage the collection of excesses/co payments. Coordinate with staff from other departments. Complete other clerical tasks such as data entry.

With 120 inpatient Surgical and Medical beds, a rehabilitation gym, 7 operating theatres, 2 procedure rooms, a day oncology unit and an ICU, Sunnybank Private Hospital has been providing care to our local community for over 40 years and continually embraces the highest quality of holistic patient care.

About you to be successful in your application, you will have a friendly and customer service focused attitude with demonstrable experience. Previous experience in an administrative role. Commit to our Safe Values. Sound computer literacy skills. Be comfortable with a competing priorities. Be available to participate in rotating shifts across 7 days.
