Great workplace culture. Well respected engineering consultancy with over 35 years in the industry. Flexible part-time hours. Position Scope. We are seeking an experienced Administration Officer to join our engineering team in Milton, QLD.

This is a permanent part-time position with flexible hours for the right candidate. The successful candidate will undertake a range of day to day office and clerical tasks, ensuring that the Milton office runs smoothly whilst providing additional administration support as required to the Engineering Manager, Administration Coordinator and the national engineering team.

Duties reception duties, booking couriers, collecting/posting mail and making deliveries, booking and maintaining records for medicals, inductions and staff training as required, scheduling meetings and taking minutes.

Document creation, formatting and document control, preparing correspondence using company templates, updating and maintaining company registers, data entry support to the Finance Manager, procurement of office supplies, liaising with suppliers, maintaining project records and,general office cleaning.

What you'll need whilst there will be on-the-job training, the successful candidate will ideally have certificate 3 or above in Business/Office Administration, minimum 5 years’ experience working in an engineering or professional services consultancy, advanced knowledge of Word, PowerPoint, Outlook.

High level of proficiency with Excel including creation of tables, formulas and pivot charts (highly advantageous), excellent communication, problem solving and time management skills, ability to work independently as well as part of a team,

Be honest, highly organised, have strong attention to detail, reliable and a team player, open unrestricted drivers licence and own vehicle is essential and be fluent in written and spoken English.
