Australian Schools Plus is a national charity supporting disadvantaged schools across Australia. We improve students’ education outcomes and opportunities by increasing philanthropic support to their schools. We are looking for an experienced and high performing administration coordinator to join our growing team, which is collaborative, friendly and passionate about giving students every opportunity in life.

About the role reporting to the Leader of Education Services, you will draw on your successful experience to provide high-quality administration to support the Education Services team and the delivery of activities for Schools Plus’s Teaching Fellowship and Alumni programs.

The position can start immediately, is part-time 0.6 FTE (can be 3 full days or 4/5 shorter days per week) and will be offered as a 12-month contract with the view to extend.

Main responsibilities include (but not limited to) general and program specific administration and coordination support to the Education Services (Knowledge Sharing, Evaluation and Coaching) team including general administration and support in running various activities and events.

Data entry and maintenance. Expenditure/budget tracking, travel imbursement assistance. Managing communication: managing mailing lists, invitations, brochures and other event collaterals as required. Liaising with key stakeholders including the wider team, fellows, presenters and general enquiries, as required. Supporting coaching workforce including, coach onboarding, travel assistance, finance, invoices and allocations.

Contributing material and desk-top publishing of program documents e.g., newsletters, and other marketing materials. Providing event coordination support for the Early Career Teachers and Teaching Awards event when required, including support during the award selection process. Providing administration support for the Evaluation Manager and Coaching Manager as required. Providing support to the wider School Plus team when required.

The successful applicant will have demonstrated, high-level team support, administration and customer service skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrated high-level attention to detail and experience working both independently and as a member of a team on multiple tasks and projects.

Problem solving skills, good judgement and a strong can-do attitude - you’re friendly, excited by the challenges of a growing organisation and ready to help the team during busy times. Presentation, publishing, design and marketing experience ideal.

Experience in using and adopting technology, ideally including Salesforce, WordPress, Office 365, smartygrants, Canva, Humanitix, Mailchimp, Eventbrite, Google suite and fundraising platform(s). Passion for the not-for-profit sector and education equity. Experience in NFP sector is preferred but not required.
